Well, I 've been slacking hard core on blogging this time around. Sorry about that. We've been busy and when we aren't busy I've been lazy. True story.
However, God has been doing some incredible things this summer (or winter here). Earlier this month we did two weeks of kids camp which was so great. And we just got back last night from a trip to the South Island which was so wonderful.
At kids camp we sang a song with some sweet dance moves, but when I really meditated on the lyrics I realized how much truth is actually in the song.

This past week my team and I challenged ourselves to walk in faith in all that we did. So we jumped into a van with three guys from El Rancho and headed off to the South Island with a little cash and no plans. Let me tell you, we walked in faith and God was so faithful. Here are some examples…
1. Night one we were planning on tenting in this guy's front yard but his dad offered us their garage to sleep in and it poured all night. Straight up protection from the rain!
2. Night two we upgraded our accommodation to a church's youth center full with a basketball court! Oh yah!
3. Day three we went to the pools (mostly because we hadn't showered in a few days) and had a picnic lunch in the park outside. We whipped out the guitar and played some worship songs. This girl running by asked to join us and after a short talk offered for us to stay at her home which ended up being two homes filled with Christians! Rock on!
4. Day four I joked about us staying in a mansion. God blessed us with a beautiful home to stay in for two nights in a row with an amazing view of Christchurch and heated floors!
5. God provided Tim Tams, meat pies, and heaps of free food for us
It was so great to see how God was faithful to us when we chose to walk in faith. I challenge you to walk in faith this week and see how God shows up in your life!
