This past week of kids camp was even more amazing than the first. We had such an awesome group of leaders that were just so ready to serve God. God has really taught me a lot this week, and I had such a great time loving, teaching, and encouraging the camp cabin leaders. The leaders training was especially amazing with some awesome worship times, prophetic revelations, and an incredible moment when one of the international volunteers from Germany, Laura, accepted Christ into her heart. My team and I had the honor of praying over her and praising God for her decision. The difference in her has really been noticeable.
Three of the international volunteers at El Rancho left this week, so it has been emotional as far as goodbyes go. They are such awesome people that I am so glad I got to know. None of them are Christians, so I know that we were good examples to shine the Light. They also expressed their appreciation for the love that my team has shown them over the past month. I also had an opportunity to share my testimony with one of them and have a conversation about who God is and what following Him is like. I know the Lord has planted seeds in their hearts and I pray that He will grow them as they go back home to Germany and France.
A few days ago my team took some personal time in prayer to listen to God and find out if He wants us to go to the South Island or stay on the North Island to do ministry over the coming week. We all told our leader separately where we felt God was calling us, and it was a unanimous SOUTH ISLAND! And as more confirmation, all of the details have been falling amazingly into place over the past week. Two of the guys on staff at El Rancho, Shanan and Reuben, will be coming with us as well as their friend Dan. They are awesome guys super sold out for the Lord, so we are stoked. We will be based in Christchurch, and we have multiple connections that will hook us up with some ministry opportunities. We will also be going hard out for street ministry. We leave early Monday morning and will return late Saturday night. So please keep this trip in your prayers: that the team will be unified and that God will provide opportunities and divine appointments for the Good News to be shared. Pray for boldness and courage.
I am growing so much through the both the great times and challenges. I am looking forward to coming home, but it will not be easy to leave here. Thank you all for your prayers and support!
