God is so good, this past week my team and I witnessed God’s blessings multiple times. We went to Christ Church on the South Island, and did heaps of ministry. Before leaving for this trip some of our Kiwi friends made phone calls to some people they knew down there, but never heard back from them until we arrived. So our first night we slept in the garage of a child hood friend of Reuben’s, man was it cold! The next day we went and did some treasure hunting in the local mall, which was really awesome. For those who don’t know what treasure hunting is, it is when you pray to God to give you a clue about someone or a specific place, just anything that will point you in the direction of praying over someone. I personally never found any of what my clues were, but some of my other team mates did, Shanan one of our Kiwi friends prayed over a guy’s ankle and it was instantly healed! Later that night we went and stayed at a youth hall, which was a much nicer than the garage the night before. On Wednesday the coolest thing happened, we were all singing and worshipping in a park after lunch when this girl came up to us and asked if she could join. After singing a couple of songs we all started talking, and the girl asked us where we were staying that night to which we replied nowhere, because up until that point we had no idea where we would be sleeping that night, more than likely in our van somewhere. But through the grace of God this girl said we could come and sleep at her house with her and her Christian roommates. It was the coolest thing ever! God did some seriously awesome things that week, but that was definitely the highlight for me. I can’t believe this is the last week of our trip, it went by so fast. I am looking forward to going home, but sad to say goodbye to all the friend’s I have made in New Zealand as well as my teammates. I have had such an awesome time here, and have been completely wrecked by God!
