So far, the Lord has been doing heaps and heaps during the last two weeks of kids camp. It has been so cool to be involved in participating in advancing the Kingdom and bringing heaven to earth. I remember I got to pray with this one kid. He told me that his leg was cramping, and without hesitation I decided to pray with him. This past week of kids camp was even more amazing than the first. We had such an awesome group of leaders that were just so ready to serve God. God has really taught me a lot this week, and I had such a great time loving, teaching, and encouraging the camp cabin leaders. This week has been so full of glory! It was our second week of kids camp and it was just as busy as last week. But I was amazed at how much the Lord was present through all of the craziness. We had a really amazing team of leaders (counselors in America) and they were all super hungry to see Jesus work. It really is incredible when a group of people come together hungry to see Jesus move in their lives how He really does show up! So the past week has been absolute chaos. It has also been probably the best week I’ve had since coming to New Zealand. We’ve been running a kid’s camp here at El Rancho. Every day, I’ve been making food, running activities, teaching singing classes, and teaching lessons on Jesus. It’s been the most draining and also the most life-giving experience I’ve ever had. This past week has been more incredible than my words can express to you, but I'll do my best to convey it as best as I can. We had the first week of kids camp, themed "The Amazing Race." There were about 80 kiddos here at El Rancho, and heaps of them got saved! God was working so mightily in their lives and the lives of their leaders, and it was a BEAUTIFUL thing to witness and be a part of. This past week has been A M A Z I N G. It was the first of two consecutive kids camps at El Rancho. My team served in the kitchen, helped teach lessons, encouraged and supported cabin leaders and staff, and ran activities for the kids as well as hung out and prayed for them. It was exhausting getting up at 6am and going to bed at 12am for 5 days straight, but God was faithful in providing strength and energy and changing the lives of these kids as well as leaders.
