There Is Freedom

Did God provide for us this week or what?! If I wrote down all of the amazing things that He did in story form, you would be reading a very lengthy essay, so I'm not going to do that. Instead, I'll give you brief examples of some of the things that God did over the past 7 days.   1. Our team (A team) along with Shanan, Reuben, and Dan (3 Kiwis that are flippin awesome) took a week long trip to the South Island to do ministry down there. We left last Monday morning with no accommodations set up whatsoever. We knew that this trip was going to be all about walking by...

Seven Glimpses of Heaven

It is impossible to write about everything amazing that happened this past week. We had an amazing trip down to the South Island in which God showed up every step of the way and increased my faith immensely. We prayed so much before and throughout the entire trip, and God answered in incredible ways. Our team of 10 people was unified, with expectation of God's power, and of course, laughing the whole way. We took the ferry to the South Island on Monday morning, with no accommodation or plans arranged.  We were completely dependent upon God to provide, and provide He did....

Dang girl..

So as you all may know, team America just got back from our excursion in South Island. As you also may know, God did work! We were faced with so many opportunities to share God's love and Truth. We even came across many miracles. One that stuck out to me was the time we had a healing for a guy who just had ankle surgery. We also went to the mall in Christchurch. There, we played a treasure hunting game where the Lord gave us clues for people to pray for. For me, I got the description of a man who was all dressed in black and had long hair. For what seemed like forever, I finally came...

God is amazing!!

God is so good, this past week my team and I witnessed God’s blessings multiple times. We went to Christ Church on the South Island, and did heaps of ministry. Before leaving for this trip some of our Kiwi friends made phone calls to some people they knew down there, but never heard back from them until we arrived. So our first night we slept in the garage of a child hood friend of Reuben’s, man was it cold! The next day we went and did some treasure hunting in the local mall, which was really awesome. For those who don’t know what treasure hunting is, it is when you...

“God is SO awesome!”

I think the phrase that best sums up our experiences this week has to be "God is SO awesome!" Not that we couldn't say that about any week, but I feel like we used that phrase so many times the past 6 days. Every single day the past week was absolutely filled with God's amazing provision and care for us. Since there's so much to tell I think I'm just going to blog about what stuck out to me the most personally… and we'll see how long this gets! So when we arrived in Christchurch on Monday morning we had no idea where we were going to be staying that night...

Enoch Enoch. Who’s There?

We are off to the south island tomorrow bright and early on the ferry!! I cannot tell you how amazing this past week has been. Kids camp was so much fun, and the eight girls in my cabin were a joy to be with all week. Two of them accepted Jesus into their hearts which was awesome! Heading to Christchurch is going to be a very new experience because the city still experiences daily aftershocks from the massive earthquake they had last year. We have been praying over this trip to the island for a couple of weeks now, and we could not be more ready for what God has in store! We are praying...
