One week down, one more to go. This week was our first week of kids camp, which was so much fun and rewarding. The theme for the kids camp was The Amazing Race, and all the kids definitely enjoyed the games that went along with it. I had so much fun teaching my dance class as well. There was about thirteen girls in my class and the ages ranged from 7-12. It was definitely a challenge for me because some of the girls had a mind of their own and would not listen, others were very quiet and would not speak up if they were having a challenge with the dance. Over all though the challenge was worth it, and in the end the girls did a fantastic job on their dance, and I was very proud of them. I definitely am excited to see what the future holds for me when it comes to teaching dance, I know I have a gift for it and I really enjoyed getting to teach my class this week. After our long week of kids camp was over my team and I had a nice relaxing Saturday of sleeping in, and having a picnic at the beach. The weather was beautiful, and we had an awesome time singing worship songs and praising God. Also Kirstyn, Kailey, and I all decided to do a polar plunge in the ocean and went for a swim in about 55 degree weather. It was very, very cold, but I am glad that I can say I did it! My team is also looking forward to our trip to the South Island in the next couple of weeks, we will be getting to do some ministry with Christ Church among many other awesome things. I can't wait to see what else God has in store for me on the rest of my time here, I can't believe that I only have about three weeks left!
