Wow, what a week! This past week my team and I had the privilege of getting to go on a tour of the North Island. It was a lot of fun, and we saw many beautiful places, such as the tip of the North Island. Before we started on our North Island journey however, we first spoke at a church on Sunday night in Palmerston North. Kailey and myself shared our testimonies, and Wes gave the message. This was my first time to share my testimony in front of a group of strangers; I was definitely really really scared at first because I was afraid of being judged or messing up what I was going to say. However, once I got up there I could really feel God just letting me know everything would be alright. Afterwards though I felt so much redemption, and breakage of what was holding me back from sharing my story with people. After that night we started our North Island tour, a friend of one of the staff members here at El Rancho was kind of enough to drive us on our road trip. We definitely spent majority of the time in the car driving, than we did sight-seeing, but it was a fun journey in the end! Claudia and I had the pleasure of getting to go see Hobbiton, which was sooo cool! We really enjoyed seeing where that part of the movies was filmed. This week is the start of kids camp, which I am so stoked for! It will definitely be challenging at times, but through God’s strength my team, and I will persevere through the next two weeks!!
